This piece was originally named Throne Birch Chair and made in carved, lathe work, mixed with glue alabaster, gold, embroidered with gold thread and silver. it was then transferred from the Russian Museum in Leningrad in 1934. The style of this period back to the throne of
Czar Alexander I and Nicholas I. The chair is now in Pavlovsk Palace and there are two pieces of throne chair with a monogram of Mary and Paul.
Art Heritage have created a replica of this chair embracing a crown of bronze gold plated ornament with synthetic stones such as Red Ruby, Green Emerald, and Sapphire Stones in addition to zirconium. The pediment is in Natural Mother of Pearl and the hands of the chair
ends with two lion heads with natural Ivory on their tusks.
